Installing the Sweet Multiport - G4 QuickSilver

1.
Before opening our computer, shut it down.
2. Unplug all the cables and power cord.
3. Open the latch on the side of your system.
4. Remove the front faceplate cover for the lower drive bay.
There is a clip behind the faceplate. Press that clip and
rotate the assembly forward to remove it.

5. Remove the screw
that holds the lower drive bracket in place. |

|
6. Slide the lower drive bracket
back and rotate to remove it. |
|
|
7. Insert Sweet carrier with
the front panel card and interconnect cable into the drive bracket.
As you insert the carrier, make sure that the interconnect cable
goes out the back of the bracket.
8. Fasten the Sweet carrier in place with four screws.
9. Reinstall the drive bracket and screw that holds it in place.
10. Install the new faceplate by aligning the left edge to the
case, and rotate the right side until the clip snaps into place. |
