Multi-Track

With Slick Multi-Track you can overlay several tracks of movies or graphic images over a movie clip. Keyframes control the scale, rotation, location and in/out points for each overlay track.

  • Select the overlay clip by clicking on the ã+ä icon.
  • Click on a keyframe marker on the keyframe timeline. At each keyframe point, the scale location and rotation of the overlay clip can be adjusted.
  • To set the scale, drag a handle on the edge of the clip. To reposition the clip, click and drag inside the clip to the new location. Hold the option key to rotate a clip.
  • The settings can also be entered numerically in the boxes to the right.
  • An overlay can also be made to fill the entire screen by clicking on the Full Screen icon.
  • Set the keyframe parameters for each keyframe.
  • The starting and ending points for the track are determined by the location of the triangles at the ends of the keyframe timeline.
  • The Fade In and Fade Out check boxes set how the overlay clip appears and hides.
  • New keyframes are added by moving the playhead to the desired location of clicking on the Add Keyframe icon.
  • To remove a keyframe marker, click on the marker to make it active, then click on the Remove keyframe icon.
  • Create a new track by clicking on the ã+ä icon. Set keyframe parameters as desired.
  • If a track is higher in the list of clips, it will appear on top of other tracks if they are overlapping.
  • To change the order of a track, select the clip name and click on the Move Up or Move Down icons in the lower right corner.
  • To remove a track, select the clip file name and click on the ã-ã icon
