Slick 10 - Skew & Distort

This effect transforms an image by moving the bounding corners of a clip. This can be used to fix an image shot at an angle, or to provide a special effect.

Drag a handle in a corner to set the desired position. The yellow boundary represents the outside edges of the modified clip, and the green box show the full video frame. If the transformed image does not fill the entire screen, the area will be filled with a background color. Click on the Background color box to set the background color.

An image can also be re-positioned by clicking inside the yellow box and dragging while the cursor changes to the hand icon.

To use this plug-in:

• Select a clip on the timeline, choose the Skew & Distort plug-in, and press the Configure button.
• Set the parameters, and click the OK button.
• In the main iMovie window click on the Apply button and the clip will be transformed.
