Slick 10 - Straighten

This effect straightens a clip that may have been shot at a crooked angle with a video camera. The clips can be rotated up to ± 20¡ by moving the Straighten slider. A yellow grid appears to give guide marks to determine the best angle.

The Always Fill checkbox scales the image so that it always fills the entire frame. Note the image quality may be degraded as the image gets scaled to fill the screen.

The Rotation button flips the image 180¡.

To use this plug-in:

• Select a clip on the timeline, choose the Straighten plug-in, and press the Configure button.
• Set the rotation parameters, and click the OK button.
• In the main iMovie window click on the Apply button and the clip will be straightened.
