Each Ani-Matte is a compact animation file that goes through the Ani-Matte engine to produce full DV-quality animations. That is how we're able to include over 100 Ani-Mattes in Slick Volume 8, all in under 15 MB download! And there's no need to search through dozens of CDs for your favorite animation.

As a programmatic animation (vs. a pre-rendered movie) there is no need "loop" short segments together. Virtually all of the Ani-Mattes will run for any duration you define. Ani-Mattes can be modified in hundreds of ways to fit the needs for your projects. We include masks integrated into the plug-in so you can use these animated backgrounds for a left bar, lower-third, frame, or even text.
