Lower Thirds

Note: The Lower Thirds plug-in requires QuickTime 7.3 or earlier.

Lower third titles show text on top of an animated background that appear in the lower third of the video frame.

The Slick Lower Third Title work with any of the Ani-Matte backgrounds.

Type text in the standard iMovie text entry area. Click to configure button. A dialog box will appear.

In the dialog box you scroll through the list of Ani-Mattes to select the desired fill. The Opacity, Blur, Hue and Tint configuration options are also available to modify the background

Select the desired mask to set the area where the Ani-Matte will appear. There are over 15 masks, including several animated ones.

There are 10 animated Text Effects to provide motion to the letters as they appear on the screen.

In the main iMovie window, the Pause slider sets the duration of the title. The Delay slider sets the length of the animated text entry.
